Type Red Vintage 2013 Producer Bechtel Frey Appellation Rheinhessen Country Germany Drink by 2018 Pour at 50° Off Dry 1
From our wine maker in Rheinhessen Germany comes their newest creation, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Bonnette grapes. Both grapes are thicker skinned which means they are well adapted to age in oak barrels, which in this case is 18 months. Although a lengthy amount of time on oak, the wine shows off soft flavors of bell pepper and paprika finishing with soft bing cherry nuances and ending in pure finesse. Likely to become a wine you simply can’t put down.
