Type White Vintage 2013 Producer Bechtel Frey Appellation Rheinhessen Country Germany Drink by 2019 Pour at 40° Dry 0
This cuvée from Germany is so much fun! We asked our winemakers to put a bunch of our favorite white grapes together to make something special and they more than outdid themselves with this. Citrus and pineapple delight the tongue and the balance of light and soft sweetness with a hint of gentle acidity makes this an ideal refreshment for any time of day.
Type Red Vintage 2013 Producer Bechtel Frey Appellation Rheinhessen Country Germany Drink by 2019 Pour at 50° Fruity 3
The IV is a true blend using the most exceptional red grapes from Germany. Aged 18 months in oak, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Mitos, Bonnette, Regent, and St. Laurent. These four grapes come together to showcase a wine that boasts aromas of black cherry, currant, and plum, finishing with flavors of raisin and sweet blueberry pie. If you want to experience what a true red wine is from Germany, this will do the trick.
Type Rosé Vintage 2015 Producer Bechtel Frey Appellation Rheinhessen Country Germany Drink by 2020 Pour at 45° Very Fruity 4
The long awaited return of our German Rosé Auslese is back. With a slightly different blend from our previous vintage, consisting of a blend Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Typically grapes found in traditional Champagne production, these two grapes are also found in still red wine production in Germany and can be harvested late to truly be called an “auslese.” Lingering essences of candied strawberry, and fresh honey, the wine finishes with a lingering sweetness that is truly unforgettable.
